What does being a father mean to you?
The goal of a father’s involvement is to nurture his child’s intellectual, emotional, physical, social and spiritual development. The key is to focus on his child’s strengths utilizing the natural assets of a father’s parenting style. Teaching through Play – Teaching through play is what draws your children to you.
Describe your experience with your father growing up and how that impacted you today.
I didn’t go grow up with my biological father. He was around but not consistent. We have a weird relationship, and as I got older I just refuse to accept how he treated me as his only son. Moreover, my mother married my father (not my biological father) around the age 5 or 6 years old. How much that impacted my life was major, and the way I comprehended that was why should I let my biological father even be around me and it be consistent and my mother married a man that’s not my blood father be more consistent then him. I didn’t accept that I don’t feel no child should.
