What does being a father mean to you?
To me, raising my two girls, breaking generational curses, showing them how they should be treated, having fun with them, taking them places, spending time with them, teaching them manners, showing them you don’t have to work for anyone to have what you want, businessman, how to be a women, teaching them education, showing them different things
Describe your experience with your father growing up and how that impacted you today.
He was in jail, gangs, and I just was raised on if your child is like you, you failed as a father. So my thing was to be like my dad but not like my dad.
What things did you take from your experience growing up into your own fatherhood journey?
Be present in your kids life, enjoy the time. Don’t let your babymother make you feel less of a person, ignore the negative energy they bring it only makes you a bitter person
Have you had any obstacles on your fatherhood journey?
Yes, my babymother took my kids and moved them out of town without me knowing, took me a week
What advice would you give others new on their fatherhood journey?
