JOIN DEAR FATHERS & STR8 MENTAL IN SUPPORT OF MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH IN 2024
Since its inception in 1949, Mental Health Awareness Month has been a cornerstone of addressing the challenges faced by millions of Americans living with mental health conditions. Here at Dear Fathers, we actively curate safe spaces and programming for black men, fathers, and young black boys to gain access to mental health resources and conversations all year around. Your support will help us continue to provide black men with access to one on one and group spaces led by mental health advocates for the betterment of communities we serve.
CONNECTING BLACK MEN TO MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES SINCE 2020
We curate safe spaces for Black Men to fellowship, grow, and heal together while unpacking various mental health topics led by black male therapists and/or mental health advocates in virtual or in-person group setting. Since May of 2020, we've connected over 4,000 black men to mental health specialists leading them to growth, healing, and the prioritization of therapy in their lives.
OUR PROGRAMMING IS DESIGNED TO HELP BLACK MEN, FATHERS, AND YOUNG BOYS INCORPORATE PRACTICES AND BEHAVIORS FOR NAVIGATING LIFE MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY, AND EMOTIONALLY THROUGH A CO-HORT BASED APPROACH.
MAKE A DONATION
Your investment in the emotional and mental well-being of black men and fathers helps us continue to do the work that we do. Every donation, big or small, contributes to breaking down barriers and creating a world where black men, fathers, and young boys feel seen, heard, and safe. All donations are tax deductable through our Fearless Fathers 501c3 nonprofit ID: 85-1443832
