What does being a father mean to you?
Describe your experience with your father growing up and how that impacted you today.
my father wasn’t there for me growing up. I was always my mom, one day me and my dad went to Kohl’s because my mom told him he needs to start buying clothes and stuff for me so he took me there and I watched him steel clothes from Kohl’s.. he didn’t have it, so he did whatever he had to do
That happened when I was six years old, after that, I haven’t seen him. I begin to do good in high school with sports so when I went off to college, he reached out to me and he asked me if I was gonna give him a Cadillac because he wanted one when I was younger .. that shit toxic
What things/tools/gems did you take from your experience growing up into your Fatherhood journey today?
Things that I have learned is to always be patient and accept things that you normally don’t

What advice would you give other Fathers on their journey?
If you could write a quick letter to your father, starting with “Dear Father,” what would you say?
Dear father, you didn’t teach me shit, you don’t reach out for shit if I was to ever die and you were still on this earth I honestly would not want you to come to my funeral as bad as that sounds I never needed you but I did need you when I was a kid I needed you to teach me things importance of life learning how to use tools but all I gotta say is I am better than nobody cause I don’t know how hard it was for you, but I know it’s easy to get somebody’s number and reach out to you always be my father, but I wish it wasn’t you, just because you wasn’t responsible because after you had me and my sister, you have four more kids love is love and I can’t get that love from you back
