What does being a father mean to you?
A father means a leader by example a provider one who pours love into his child and builds them up. A father is a teacher and a rule enforcer as well as a life coach
Describe your experience with your father growing up and how that impacted you today.
My experience with my father was unfortunately more rainy days than sunny but it taught me to make sure I talk to my son and let him know how important it is that I raise him right
What things/tools/gems did you take from your experience growing up into your Fatherhood journey today?
I’m slowly reprogramming myself to not hustle and bustle for every dollar and make sure to work on myself and my family just as hard as anything else
Have you had any obstacles on your fatherhood journey? If so, explain.
Yes I’ve faced financial obstacles throughout my new found entrepreneurship but it’s also teaching me how to be more calculated with my moves and then create a system to pass down to my kids
What advice would you give other Fathers on their journey?
As long as you are doing what you know is right God will bless you.
If you could write a quick letter to your father, starting with “Dear Father,” what would you say?
Dear father I know you did your best with the knowledge you had and the tools and resources available to you but honestly you were not ready or fit to have kids and now that I’m a father myself I’m going to reverse that narrative.
