MLB All Star Week Kicks Off This Friday with the The HBCU Swingman Classic| Hosted by Ken Griffrey, Jr. & Big Tigger
MLB All-Star Week in Atlanta begins by celebrating HBCU talent and tradition! Catch student-athletes from Division-I programs at Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) in Atlanta for the HBCU Swingman Classic presented by T-Mobile and powered by the MLB-MLBPA Youth Development Foundation (YDF). This philanthropic & educational All-Star Week event will take place at Truist Park, the home of the Atlanta Braves.
The HBCU Swingman Classic will highlight the history and legacy of HBCU baseball programs. 50 Division-I HBCU baseball players will get the opportunity to showcase their talent on a national stage. The student-athletes will be selected by a committee that will include Ken Griffey Jr., representatives from MLB and MLBPA, and scouts.
The event will also feature:

Avery Sunshine performing the national anthem
Marching band performances
Divine Nine step show
Postgame fireworks
