Name: Danny “SwaggerDad” Reyes City: Garland, Texas | Instagram: @jamillionaire._

What does being a father mean to you?

It means the world to me. There’s nothing more important to me then being a father.

Describe your experience with your father growing up and how that impacted you today.

I grew up without a father so that right there was my motivation for me to be the Best Dad to my kids. Not having a Dad actually help me Become the father I never had.

What things/tools/gems did you take from your experience growing up into your Fatherhood journey today?

Like I said previously, I didn’t grow up with my Dad, so everything I’m teaching my son is things I learned on the fly.

Have you had any obstacles on your fatherhood journey? If so, explain.

Yes I have, I’ve lost my daughter 13 yrs ago she was going to be 2yrs old. Losing is one of the hardest thing a parent can go through. Thankfully

What advice would you give other Fathers on their journey?

The best advice I can give a new Dad if to be patient with them. And to really enjoy and cherish every moment cause they do grow fast.

If you could write a quick letter to your father, starting with “Dear Father,” what would you say?

Dear Father, although I didn’t get to know you I forgive for not being the Dad you was supposed to be. I pray every night that you be the grandfather to my Ella. You wasn’t in my life hopefully you’re in your grandchild heavenly life…
