What does being a father mean to you?
Everything it’s the kind of love I have never experience it’s not thinking twice who is priority and loving every minute of it the challenges and the joy of it all I truly feel blessed every day knowing I have a purpose to awake each day
Describe your experience with your father growing up and how that impacted you today.
My Father is old school with a military background he is strong willed but I never had to worry about him being there or having my back
What things/tools/gems did you take from your experience growing up into your Fatherhood journey today?
No matter what my day is like or how many challenges I experienced she can put a smile on my face and regenerate me to keep going
Have you had any obstacles on your fatherhood journey? If so, explain.
When my daughter was born she was fragile she had to be on medication and her sugar had to be checked 2x a day with the support of my family we all dedicated our time n attention on her and now when I look at how far she has come I just can’t help smiling and thanking the almighty God
What advice would you give other Fathers on their journey?
Enjoy every moment of each day with them create as much special moments for you to remanist as they grow into adulthood
If you could write a quick letter to your father, starting with “Dear Father,” what would you say?
Dear Dad thanks for being there when so many Dads disappeared and separated themselves you were not one who did so no matter how small the problem you always took care of it with all the challenges with having another son who his autistic and non-verbal you found a way to be there for both of us and not let it consume you with just one son for this I am grateful
