What does being a father mean to you?
Being a father gives me a different purpose. An extension of myself, and a deeper understanding into reality. I even started a soap company because my daughters skin was breaking out. I just past the one year mark.
Describe your experience with your father growing up and how that impacted you today.
Growing up I felt as if my father was mostly silent. So that led me to guess, wonder, and assume. Its impacted me today because I speak up. I’m involved with what my children have going on in life.
What things did you take from your experience growing up into your own fatherhood journey?
That a man needs responsibility more than respect. Its just how he obtains both that determines what type of man he is.
Have you had any obstacles on your fatherhood journey?
Obtaining and keeping my individuality. Staying true to my passions, and being understanding.
What advice would you give others new on their fatherhood journey?
Stay alert, and realize exactly what you want to do in your fatherhood experience.
