Describe your experience with your father growing up and how that impacted you today.

Unfortunately growing up with my dad unavailable, so it impacted me on to be the father I never had and always show my kids I’m here no matter what.

What things did you take from your experience growing up into your own fatherhood journey?

I always knew being in a neighborhood where fathers wasn’t really the normal I had to tell myself that i could never set my goals to ever be a absent parent..

Have you had any obstacles on your fatherhood journey?

My obstacle was to make the decision to stay in a relationship for them or to move on and be a better person, I’ve actually grown and matured being a father leaving the situation

What advice would you give others new on their fatherhood journey?

My advice is to try your best, your not perfect and to show them the way…let them make mistakes but be there when the need you even at their worst

If you could write a quick letter to your father, starting with “Dear Father,” what would you say?

Dear father,

I know you wasn’t around but i just want you to know that I’m nothing like you. I’ve done things for my kids that a lot people can’t say or do. My kids will never not know who their father is, they will always be able to come to me with any problem.

Name some other fathers you cosign.
