What does being a father mean to you?
Being a father means offering your children unlimited support and education. As well as teaching them the importance if self-love and personal worth.
Describe your experience with your father growing up and how that impacted you today.
I didn’t have a father growing up. However I would like to credit multiple people who played a positive role in my life. They helped shape me into the man I am today.
What things did you take from your experience growing up into your own fatherhood journey?
Believe in yourself and never give up!
Have you had any obstacles on your fatherhood journey?
I’ve experienced many obstacles on my fatherhood journey. Realizing my happiness is just as important as my children’s happiness is something that I had to understand and figure how to channel. “If the head of the house is unhappy, then the family will reciprocate that same energy”
What advice would you give others new on their fatherhood journey?
My advice would be to seek therapy, get to know yourself better and make sure that being a parent is something your ready to be.
If you could write a quick letter to your father, starting with “Dear Father,” what would you say?
ear Father,
Why wasn’t you there? Are you capable of answering me honestly?
