What does being a father mean to you?

Being a father to me means love, patience, sacrificing my life for my son’s life. It means my life has stopped and his is just beginning. It’s all about my son.

Describe your experience with your father growing up and how that impacted you today.

Growing up with my father was not the best. He was around but not in the household and I missed the father figure being around everyday. It made me a better father because I never want my son to go a day without me in his life.

Have you had any obstacles on your fatherhood journey? If so, explain.

No obstacles yet everything has been wonderful and a blessing so far

What advice would you give others new on their fatherhood journey?

Cherish every moment even the moments when you are dead tired and frustrated. You cannot get time back so make sure to spend every day if you can with your children.

If you wanted to write a quick note to your father, starting with “Dear Father,” what would it be?

Dear father, I just want to know why you weren’t around when I was growing up like you should have been. Why didn’t you build a strong bond between me and you. I still love and am very proud to be your son I just wish you were around more
