Trying to co parent in the least toxic most effective way with my child’s mother but that’s an every day thing we are working towards getting better at for the betterment of Our daughter’s upbringing . I realize it takes time & im willing to put that time in for our baby girl .
What advice would you give others new on their fatherhood journey?
The advice I’d give to new fathers is to always be there & MAKE SURE that child knows that. Stay in their lives no matter the current situation or where you may be in the world . Make an effort to go above and beyond without being told to do so & the child will always remember that . Stay consistent & take care of those babies , do what you’re supposed to as a father !
If you could write a quick letter to your father, starting with “Dear Father,” what would you say?
Dear father , I know at times I thought you were mean . At times I thought you were a little harder on me because I was your only son that you haven’t lost to the system. But instead I realize you were giving me the keys to being a successful man & now that I have a daughter of my own I know exactly how you felt after having your first daughter . I could never blame you for how I felt in the past because I see clearly now . You gave me all of the proper tools and I will uplift your teachings & display the proper way of being a Father to your children & being a man for the world . Thank you
