GRAMMY AWARD WINNING ARTIST OFFSET PARTNERS WITH ENTREPRENEUR EBONY AUSTIN TO GIVE BACK TO 2,500 ATLANTA FAMILIES DURING ONE OF THE LARGEST CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVES IN THE CITY OF ATLANTA
Grammy award winning artist Offset partnered with entrepreneur and philanthropist, Ebony Austin, the owner of Nouveau Bar & Grill to host The 5th Annual Nouveau Toy Drive and Christmas Experience. It’s one of the most anticipated holiday community events in metropolitan Atlanta and surrounding areas. The event was held at the Gateway Arena Center in College Park, GA where Ebony Austin and Offset made Christmas dreams come true for over 2,500 families during the event. Families received amazing gifts including Playstations, Ugg boots, bicycles, televisions, and more. Successful entrepreneur and philanthropist Ebony Austin dedication to giving back and leaving an undeniable impact on the community is one of her biggest priorities as a mogul. Both Offset and Austin’s mission was to provide a memorable event for Atlanta families during this holiday season. Offset typically hosts “Toys 4 The Nawf” which celebrates and helps families from the Northside of Atlanta.
“I’ve been giving back during the Christmas holidays with “Toyz 4 The Nawf” for four years now, and it’s one of my favorite moments of the year,” said Offset.
“To make it even bigger this year, I decided to partner with Ebony Austin and Nouveau Bar & Grill. We bought The Nawf Pole to College Park. Our goal was to reach as many households as possible.”
At the event attendees experienced hot cocoa stations, gingerbread house building, food stations, additional raffled gifts, live performances, dance competitions and a pep rally experience hosted by Fly Guy DC from Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 Attendees also enjoyed performances by the award-winning Jonesboro High School band, who recently received a life-changing $20,000 donation from Austin to fulfill their dreams of performing at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. The event also featured Love & Hip Hop’s Yandy & Mendeecees, Jamelle Mckenzie Councilwoman of College Park, Clayton County Commissioner Dr. Alieka Anderson, and more. As the event wrapped Ebony Austin received a resolution from State Representative Dexter of Valdosta District #177 and Reign Stevens, the Political Relations Representative of Georgia. Austin was also presented the key to the city of College Park, Ga along with a proclamation from the city to wrap up Nouveau’s Christmas Toy Drive.
