I’ve been connected in spirit with my dad since I can remember. I saw love through words backed up by action.

What’s the best thing you’ve learned from your Father?

That I had a purpose for being here!

What struggles did you face in your relationship with your Dad and how did you get through them?

No personal struggle. I internally didn’t always understand how to love someone meant that sacrifice came with it. Watching my father being a husband to my mother was a true honor. The love, patience, understanding, backed by the friendship and respect they had for one another forever changed me.

What has your relationship with your Father taught you about what to look/not look for in your partner?

My father said a man will be a man when he’s ready to be a man.

I’ve learned to quickly recognize when a man hasn’t stepped into his manhood.

How has your relationship with your Father shaped the woman you are today?

I’m shaped daily even to this day.

If you could write a short letter to your father, starting with “Dear Father,” what would you say?

I wrote a book

Daddy’s Pearls.

I felt if people could be fed the way I’ve been fed all of my life the words would resonate in hearts the way they have in mine all of my life.
