Describe your experience with your father growing up and how that impacted you today.

I just tried to enjoy every moment with because my father passed away at a young age.

What things did you take from your experience growing up into your own fatherhood journey?

Since my father died, it made me kind of tougher because it forced me to move on and accept things for how they happened.

Have you had any obstacles on your fatherhood journey?

Yea, you just disagreements and working through problems with their mothers. Trying to stay positive for the kids. Just because there was an argument didn’t mean my work was over.

What advice would you give others new on their fatherhood journey?

Ask questions. And always try to be around your children as much as you can.

If you could write a quick letter to your father, starting with “Dear Father,” what would you say?

Dear father, I wish you were here to meet your grandchildren. I miss you and I love you.
