Holidays With Dad: An Event for Black Fathers and their children to celebrate the holidays and fatherhood. There are not many spaces for Fathers of African and Indigenous descent to be celebrated as well as to fellowship together. CoBiz and Dear Fathers strive to change that narrative, starting with the holidays with their kick-off event, Holidays With Dad. This event is designed for fathers and their children to gather on a lovely Sunday afternoon to bond around: bounce houses, ornament decorating, cookie decorating, gingerbread decorating, hot chocolate, pastries, games, father and child pictures, and much more.
Thanks to everyone who came out to Holidays with Dads at CoBiz Richmond. With our Co-Founder Lamar Johnson Jr. being based in Oakland, we wanted to make sure we created safe spaces in the Bay Area for Black Fathers to come together to connect and fellowship.
