What does being a father mean to you?
To me being a father means you have some one to live and fight for. Before I had my daughter I didn’t care about my long term goals. I was just moving fast and reckless. The Love you have for your child is indescribable. Just knowing that you have a creation that you have to provide for makes you want to change. My daughter being born most likely saved my life.
Describe your experience with your father growing up and how that impacted you today.
My father wasn’t in my life. To honest a lot of things a father would teach I just learned from my favorite rappers. How to dress, how to move. My poppop (Grand father) was my best friend and the closest thing I’ve had to a father. He passed when I was 16. I have him tatted on me twice so he’s always with me.
What things did you take from your experience growing up into your own fatherhood journey?
What I’ve taken away from my experience is that it’s okay to not have everything figured out. It’s okay to ask for advice. I learned to be creative to keep your child interested in learning new things.

What advice would you give others new on their fatherhood journey?
No new father knows it all. Just do your best and God will work everything. And don’t be afraid to get advice from other dads.

I wish we could have gotten the chance to Know each other.
