Describe your experience with your father growing up and how that impacted you today.

My mom and my father were not in the same household but I actually had a strong relationship with my father. My father was the one who disciplined me & I think that had a big impact on the decisions I made growing up.

What things did you take from your experience growing up into your own fatherhood journey?

Time is more important than money. Children will love you more if you spend time with them.

What advice would you give others new on their fatherhood journey?

Spend as much time with your child as you can. Don’t let anything come between the relationship you have with your kid not even the mother. Always remember you hurt your child more than anyone In the end if your absent.

If you could write a quick letter to your father, starting with “Dear Father,” what would you say?

Dear father, I thank you for playing your part in helping raise me. I thank you for all the tough love you gave me & I now see it was all for my own good. Love you pops
