What does being a father mean to you?
Being a father means EVERYTHING to me! Its the role that pushed me into manhood! Having the responsibility of rearing up little girls into, one day becoming women, moms, and assets the their families, community, and the world is exhilarating!
Describe your experience with your father growing up and how that impacted you today.
What things did you take from your experience growing up into your own fatherhood journey?
I learned to never say something that I wouldn’t follow through with. I’ve learned that not amount of money in the world can replace quality time.
What advice would you give others new on their fatherhood journey?
Take it one day at a time, don’t be too hard on yourself when you have to discipline your kids, and give yourself some GRACE
If you could write a quick letter to your father, starting with “Dear Father,” what would you say?
Dear father,
I just want to thank you for giving birth to me in allowing me to live this thing called life. Through all the ups and downs and all the things that we went through kids I appreciate you always being there even though you are perfect. There’s no amount of money our gratitude that I can give you but all I can give you is my thanks.
