What does being a father mean to you?
Being a father means everything to me. As a father, it’s my job to show my daughter how a queen is supposed to be treated. As a father, it’s my job to show my daughter what real love feels like. I love being a father
Describe your experience with your father growing up and how that impacted you today.
Me and my father relationship was pretty good. He was there when he could be. Our relationship impacted me a lot. Growing up, my father was in the streets so a lot of things like sports and school. I have to do or learn on my own.
What things did you take from your experience growing up into your own fatherhood journey?
I took no being around your child can really hurt them mentally and emotionally. I told myself, no matter what. I’ll always be in my child’s life. Nothing will stop me from showing my child that daddy is always going to be here
What advice would you give others new on their fatherhood journey?
Your child didn’t ask to be here but it’s your job to make sure while they are here. They don’t need for anything
If you could write a quick letter to your father, starting with “Dear Father,” what would you say?
Dear father,
I wanna thank you for being there when you could. I love you. thanks for all the learns you put into me
