Take us through your thoughts the moment you realized your child was ready to come into this world.

Uh man.. my anxiety was through the roof for almost three whole days… 3 whole days… literally one of the most emotional weekends I have ever had in my life. Lol My game plan was to let the nurses handle mostly everything as in helping her push. So picture this, the whole nurse crew assisting your lady push and after 4 or 5 minutes they let you guys know that she is only dilated 6 centimeters ? my heart was racing like they was doing something & my son was about to come into the world. Lol So the nursing crew leaves to attend to another family. So that when I snapped out of being quiet and started couching my lady to focus on her breathing and her pushes. I’m talking about Doc Rivers game 6 of the 2008 playoffs couching. Lol After 8 mins my son was delivered into the world. With just me & one nurse.

What were your physical, mental, and emotional feelings while in the delivery room as your child was entering the world.

So this is my firstborn & first time seeing a birth. So come to think of it I completely felt overwhelming confidence & a sign of relief. I’m sure you guys know what I thought about the birth right???? IT WAS Beautiful guys come on!. Lol

Describe what it felt like holding your child for the first time?

The feeling was indescribable, my little man had10 toes & 10 fingers and head full of hair. I was so amazed at everything to be honest I still am.

Do you have any advice for fathers who are expecting for the first time?

First off just these good brothers on this podcast could tell you it’s going to get rough however, the love for your newborn will overshadow every little bump in the road. But trust that there will be days that will be phenomenal. My son is 3 months as of the 14 of September and he brings so much life, energy, joy, & inspiration. I was then inspired to create a business that’ll help him & my family. And hopefully one day he’ll be able to pick up where I left off. I started a clothing brand called @1250Brand

12:50pm was the time that he was born. That time will forever be sentimental to me because that was the time that I became a father.
