What does being a father mean to you?

It’s everything I have always wanted. All I have ever wanted to be is a father. The best thing you can do in this world we live, is give life and make sure that that person or persons is equipped with all the best values, great character and the understand of how unique and special they are.

Describe your experience with your father growing up and how that impacted you today.

I didn’t have a father growing up. I wanted to make sure I ended the cycle in my family. Create a new legacy for my family’s name.

What things did you take from your experience growing up into your own fatherhood journey?

I could never love someone as much as I love my wife and child. As soon as I saw my child come out, my whole world changed immediately and it changed for the best. My daughter is the best thing to ever happen to me.

Have you had any obstacles on your fatherhood journey?

Making sure I am the best father I can be. I don’t know all of the ups and downs but I pray that I am ready for it.

What advice would you give others new on their fatherhood journey?

Enjoy it and take it all on. I’m new so I’m taking as it comes to me.

If you could write a quick letter to your father, starting with “Dear Father,” what would you say?

Dear Father……… I will pick up where you left off. Life is hard and I can’t say anything about your decisions. I know I will make it happen for mines.
