What does being a father mean to you?
A father to me means being your daughter’s first love and your son’s first best friend. It’s a lifestyle that could never taken for granted. YOU SET THE TONE!!!!
Describe your experience with your father growing up and how that impacted you today.
Growing up my father always made it a point to create amazing memories for myself and my siblings. The key to them all was to have fun. We made a whole adventure of just walking our dogs. It gave me the mindset , that as long as we’re together and enjoying our time with each other , every thing else will be alright.
What things did you take from your experience growing up into your own fatherhood journey?
No matter what, keeping and standing by your word, is crucial to building strong bonds.
Have you had any obstacles on your fatherhood journey? If so, explain.
Since becoming a father, I have been huge on quality time. Managing my time, between work and family, has been tough. It seems sometimes I work more than I am with them.
What advice would you give others new on their fatherhood journey?
Enjoy the beautiful times, but equally embrace the hard ones. Everything else will come to you as time passes !!

Dear Father, thank you for continuously being the amazing role model you are. You’ve taught me how to cast my fears aside and stand strong through all obstacles I may face. I stand here today at 28 years old, still eager for your lessons. I love you.
